Adolescence is a time of tremendous energy and growth for young people. In this session, you will learn about the many physical, emotional, and cognitive changes that affect teens and understand the significance of these changes, both for you and the adolescent. We will also discuss a variety of methods for responding to adolescents to promote their development.
Session 2: Building Relationships
September 14, 2021

Trainer: Bridgett Moran
To effectively serve adolescents, caregivers should understand the importance of relationship building and youth development. Participants will learn to examine their program’s environment to ensure that it promotes positive development. We will also be exploring ways to provide services that are culturally and socially relevant to the young people and their community.

To receive credit for this workshop, each participant must have their own device (tablet or computer), with the camera turned on and their face visible for the duration of the session.
