August Presentation: Managing Hair & Skin

Join us as Vanessa Morrison from Cut It Forward shares information on how to manage hair for African American and bi-racial children. Tools, skills and insights will be shared on how managing hair and skin can help improve the self-esteem of children and impact their feelings of self-worth.

Training Credit

Parents in attendance will earn 2 hours of in-service training credit toward your annual 12-hour requirement. Come connect and learn with other kinship, foster, and adoptive families in Oklahoma County and surrounding counties.

Child Care

Child care is available with a reservation. To reserve space for your children, please RSVP by contacting your Resource Specialist by noon Tuesday, August 20, 2019.


A light snack will also be provided, so please RSVP by the date above so we can prepare for you.
