August Presentation: Foster Parent Rights

Did you know foster parents and foster  children have rights specifically for them that are protected by statute? It’s true! Learn what your rights are as a foster parent, as well as the rights of the children you serve. Foster Care Ombudsman Lisa Buck will discuss the rights of foster children and foster parents.

The presentation will also include the steps to take if you believe your rights have been violated.

Training Credit

Parents in attendance will earn 2 hours of in-service training credit toward your annual 12-hour requirement. Come connect and learn with other  kinship, foster, and adoptive families in Tulsa and surrounding counties.
