February Presentation: Loss & Grief: The Resource Parent Experience

We often talk about how children in care deal with feelings of loss and grief, but we tend to overlook how those feelings impact resource parents. Emilie Smith with the Tristesse Grief Center will help us examine the loss and grief experience for adults and how caregivers can cope with strong feelings.

Training Credit

Parents in attendance will earn 2 hours of in-service training credit toward your annual 12-hour requirement. Come connect and learn with other  kinship, foster, and adoptive families in Tulsa and surrounding counties.

Child Care

Child care is available with a reservation. Please RSVP to Naomi at (254) 691-7468 by noon Friday, February 14.

A light meal will also be provided, so please RSVP by the date above so we can prepare for you. You may arrive at 5:45 p.m. to begin eating with your family.
