The Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum is designed to help improve the quality of residential care for children and youth. The RCYCP Institute consists of four training modules exploring ways in which Youth Care Professionals can be more effective in their work with young people.

The ability to form positive relationships with others is at the heart of working with young people. In RCYCP 3: Building Relationships, participants will discuss the importance of developing positive relationships with youth, how culture and communication impact relationships, and how positive relationships can help make youths’ transitions smoother.
