Chelsea brings a wealth of experience related to sexual health programming and working with vulnerable youth in school, community, and residential settings to NRCYS. She is passionate about issues related to health and well-being and uses her knowledge and talents to provide training and consulting services to providers across Oklahoma through the Trauma Informed Care Project. In addition, she facilitates a variety of trainings—both locally and nationally—related to residential care practice, youth development, and trauma responsive care. Chelsea earned a master degree in health studies from the University of Alabama.

Radhika Cruz, MA
Program Development Specialist I, National Resource Center for Youth Services
Radhika has served children and families involved with child welfare and faith-based organizations as a child welfare professional and child/family program director. She is extremely passionate about building family strengths and promoting resilience in others by strengthening emotional intelligence abilities and fostering growth mindsets. As part of the Trauma Informed Care Project, Radhika facilitates training on crisis management, residential youth care practice, emotional intelligence, and trauma responsive care to providers and agencies across the state. Radhika earned her master degree in human development and family studies from Kent State University in Ohio.

The Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum is designed to help improve the quality of residential care for children and youth. The RCYCP Institute consists of four training modules exploring ways in which Youth Care Professionals can be more effective in their work with young people.
Participants who have attend all four RCYCP Modules are eligible to sit for the Residential Child and Youth Care Professional Certification exam.
