November 19, 2026

Beneath every thought, emotion, and interaction, the nervous system continuously monitors for cues of safety and danger. Fight, flight, freeze, and fawn are not simply crisis responses. They are ever-present survival drivers designed to protect us and help us navigate the world. While these drivers remain in the background during moments of safety, they often become more prominent and influential when safety is threatened, whether the threat is real or imagined.

This training explores how fight, flight, freeze, and fawn influence the way we think, feel, and respond, and how recovery and resilience can help us navigate when survival takes the lead.

Key Takeaways

  • Recognize the unique ways fight, flight, freeze, and fawn work to protect us.
  • Explore how perceptions of safety and threat influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
  • Recognize how recovery and resilience can serve as course correctors when fight, flight, freeze, and fawn take the lead.

This event will be presented over Zoom. Attendees will receive a separate email with the link to the meeting.

To receive CEUs, attendees must stay for the duration of this training with their cameras on. If your camera is off for more than 30 minutes attendees will not receive their CEUs.
