Virtual Event

Facilitator: Susan Kee, MSW, Senior Training Coordinator, NRCYS

We can place a child or youth in a home, but do they feel a sense of comfort, familiarity, and belonging, or are they living with uncertainty?

Children and youth need meaningful connections to the people, traditions, values, and experiences that shape who they are. Culture plays a powerful role in daily life and is a key part of identity, resilience, and well-being.

In this session, participants will explore the key components of culture, learn how culture influences the development of children and youth, and discover practical strategies to strengthen a child's sense of identity and belonging.

This course will be held virtually via Zoom. You will receive a link to the meeting in a separate email a week prior to the training.

Registration for this event ends December 1, 2026.
