This comprehensive training is designed to equip participants with a deeper understanding of trauma and its impact, guiding them from awareness to action. Through a combination of foundational models, skill-building exercises, and in-depth exploration of trauma-related concepts, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to trauma in themselves and others.

Key Areas Covered:

  • Foundational Models: Introduction to key models that lay the groundwork for understanding trauma and its effects on individuals.
  • Exploring Trauma: Using various sources and frameworks to help participants conceptualize what trauma is and how it manifests in different contexts.
  • Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs): A detailed look at ACEs, their long-term impact on individuals, and how they can influence behavior, health, and well-being.
