Senior Program Development Specialist, NRCYS
Seth has worked primarily in residential care settings for children and youth in direct, supervisory, and case management roles, as well as in research settings with Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Food and Drug Administration. He supervises the Trauma Informed Care Project, through which he provides training and consulting in Oklahoma relating to trauma responsive care, youth development, crisis prevention, and staff development. Seth holds a master degree in organizational psychology from The University of Oklahoma.

Ashley Nouri, BS, MSW

As the supervisor for the Education and Training Voucher (ETV) unit under the Oklahoma Successful Adulthood (OKSA) program at Oklahoma Human Services., Ashley advocates for/with current and former foster youth while encouraging them to find their strengths and utilize them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science and Natural Resources from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma.

Our philosophy, values, and beliefs about youth can sometimes become the barrier to growth and change. Throughout this course, participants will explore the philosophy of Positive Youth Development (PYD), how PYD addresses the developmental needs of youth, and how individual and programmatic attitudes, behaviors, and assumptions about youth impacts their development.
