The Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum is designed to help improve the quality of residential care for children and youth. The RCYCP Institute consists of four training modules exploring ways in which Youth Care Professionals can be more effective in their work with young people.

Participants will review the Residential Child and Youth Care Professional (RCYCP) curriculum and learn how to train all four of its modules: Developing a Culture of Care, Understanding Child Development, Building Relationships, and Teaching Discipline. Participants must attend all three days of the workshop and teach back a section of the curriculum to become a certified trainer.
