Professionalizing Youth Work in Oklahoma Conference 2025

NRCYS

About the Conference

The Professionalizing Youth Work in Oklahoma Conference is designed for Youth Work Professionals from various environments to:

  • Engage with peers and expand their networks
  • Learn about best practices in professional youth work
  • Participate in skill-based training
  • Celebrate the accomplishments of youth workers from across Oklahoma

The theme of this year’s conference is inspired by the five pillars of Professional Youth Development: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, and Character. In a world where trauma is increasingly prevalent, the role of Professional Youth Workers has never been more critical. Participants will gain new skills, a fresh perspective on the support they provide, and the opportunity to learn from experts in the field. Through comprehensive training, valuable networking opportunities, and ongoing support, this conference aims to continue equipping Oklahoma’s Professional Youth Workers with the skills they need and the motivation to persevere.

This will mark the 15th year this conference has been held; our hope is that you will be inspired by what you learn, and motivated to implement these insights in your work, fostering positive change in the lives of the youth you serve.
