Resources, Opportunities, and Relationships: Supports for Youth Mental Health Needs
Youth in child welfare represent some of our most vulnerable members of society, as well as the most rewarding to know and engage. Participants will learn about the unique mental health needs of youth in child welfare, resources currently available to Oklahoma families, and ways to advocate for youth through ongoing partnerships.

This training will explore LGBTQ+ history and how it impacts the LGBTQ+ community today, address information about language and terms, specific challenges LGBTQ+ youth face, and available resources.

The Adolescent Brain
This training seeks to connect the anecdotal knowledge that youth serving professionals have about why adolescents behave the way they do with recent advancements in the science of adolescent brain development. In addition, examples and exercises will help participants more effectively provide support to their youth.
