Creating Space for Change: A Motivational Interviewing Workshop

This experiential workshop provides opportunities to learn the basic concepts behind creating an authentic relational space that is accepting, compassionate, collaborative, and engaging. Participants will practice the underlying spirit, principles and core conversation skills needed to incorporate Motivational Interviewing into your daily interactions with young people.

Resources, Opportunities, and Relationships that Support Youth Mental Health

Building Multicultural Spaces that are Safe, Inclusive, and Equitable

This four-part training series covers the phenomena of implicit bias and how individuals can minimize its effects on interactions with others, teaches how to recognize common patterns of communication that produce difficult conversations, and explores questions about systemic inequality and our own privilege. Each session builds upon the knowledge of the previous session. Missed sessions must be approved by the trainer to receive CEU credit.

The Adolescent Brain

Normalcy for Youth and Children in Foster Care
