Caregivers can enhance the first years of a child's life by knowing how their brain develops and creating experiences to support brain development. This webinar session will provide an overview of the The Growing Brain: From Birth to Three Years Old. Participants will discover:
- how the brain develops,
- how they can help infants and children build strong connections through relationships,
- the role of early experiences in making connections between areas of the brain,
- the effects of stress on brain development, and ways to support the development of executive function and cognitive development.
Parents in attendance will earn 1 hour of in-service training credit toward their annual 12-hour requirement.
