Teens in foster care face unique challenges that can impact their sense of stability, belonging, and hope for the future. Anchored Futures is an interactive training designed to equip caregivers and professionals with the tools and strategies needed to strengthen placement stability for youth during adolescence. Through discussion, reflection, and practical skill-building, participants will explore ways to foster meaningful connections, provide security, and support resilience in the lives of teens.
Registrants should have:
- Stable Internet Connection: A strong and reliable internet connection is necessary to avoid interruptions.
- Zoom Access: Participants must have Zoom installed on their device (desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone). You can download it for free at https://zoom.us/download.
- Audio & Video Capabilities: Please have a working microphone and camera. Video participation is encouraged to promote interaction and engagement.
- Quiet Environment: Join from a quiet space to minimize background noise and distractions.
- Updated Zoom Version: Ensure your Zoom app is up to date for full functionality during the session.
- Name Display: Please sign in using your full name so that attendance can be verified accurately.
- Participation: Be prepared to engage in discussions, activities, or breakout rooms as part of the interactive learning experience.
