Lindsey Cain, M.Ed

Trainer, NRCYS

Lindsey is thrilled to be a Trainer at NRCYS - developing and delivering trauma-informed educational interventions she wishes she had when she worked in Congregate Care.

Lindsey's career began in a Children's Community Residence for boys ages 8-13 with emotional disturbances. Upon learning many of the youth had experienced childhood sexual abuse, Lindsey began to study and teach sexual health education in an effort to increase awareness, combat the prevalence of childhood sexual abuse, and support adults in having challenging and sensitive conversations with youth. Lindsey is grateful to have supported youth development work at both Union Public Schools and the University of Tulsa.

Concurrently, Lindsey serves as an adjunct in the Health and Psychology departments at Southern New Hampshire University, where she is currently teaching Cross-Cultural Psychology and Lifespan Development.
