Honoring Experience: Unlocking the Unique Strengths of Staff with Lived Expertise

This interactive training cultivates meaningful collaboration between supervisors and staff with lived expertise. Drawing on findings from an Action Research Project (ARP), participants will explore the value of lived experience, common workplace challenges, and strategies for supportive supervision. Supervisors will gain practical tools that include coaching and advocacy techniques to enhance team cohesion and support staff well-being.

Participants Will:

  • Understand how lived expertise enhances practice and outcomes.
  • Identify common challenges staff with lived expertise face and strategies to address them.
  • Apply supervision techniques that build trust, resilience, and inclusive team dynamics
