Youth behavior can be challenging, and understanding the meaning behind the behavior takes skill. This training will explore how understanding a youth’s early experiences in relationship give us pathways to helping them with their current behavior and beliefs. Real-life examples of how to work with young people based on their particular development will be provided. Congregate care providers, resource families, child welfare specialists, and those providing care to youth and their families will all be able to use this information to strengthen relationships with the youth that they support.
