Event Trainers
Tracy Nunley, MA
This training invites participants to look beyond the surface of addictive behavior and into the deeper story beneath it. Addiction is explored through two interconnected lenses: as a recurring pattern and as a form of psychological protection shaped by unresolved emotional pain.
Rather than seeing addiction as simply something to fix or remove, participants will come to understand it as a survival strategy, one that once provided relief or protection but has created cycles of harm.
Key Takeaways:
- Addiction is both a pattern and a form of protection
- Addictive behaviors are learned survival strategies
- Lasting change requires addressing the underlying pain, not just the behavior
