National Resource Center for Youth Services: Oklahoma Successful Adulthood Program

We are so excited for this year's OKSA DDS Conference! This event is a collaboration between the OKSA program and Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) to provide an annual, one-day life skills event. It provides opportunities for youth to practice life skills, to promote awareness of community resources and to strengthen youth/adult relationships.

Who Should Attend?

Youth: Ages 14 through 20-years-old with a DDS designation, who are receiving DDS services, and who are interested in learning important life skills while having fun!

Adults: Social workers, foster parents, youth workers, and volunteers.

Maximum Ratio: No more than one youth for each adult sponsor. Adult sponsors are responsible for the supervision of their youth.

What You Should Wear

Dress is casual. Most activities will be held inside; however, some outside activities will also be available. We suggest casual clothing: jeans, shorts, T-shirts, a jacket, and comfortable shoes.
