The School-Based Services Program is a contractual and collaborative partnership between OKDHS and local school districts.
Individual Career Academic Plan (ICAP)
The term ICAP refers to both a process that helps students engage in academic and career development activities and a product that is created and maintained for students’ academic, career and personal advancement.
OK Fosters- Educational Support
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Oklahoma State Department of Education work together to ensure the educational stability of children in foster care.

Oklahoma’s Promise allows students in the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades a chance to earn a college tuition scholarship. Applications can be submitted for youth students in foster care with our designated OK Promise application which bypasses the maximum family income requirements.
Below is the application attachment and guidelines. These applications are updated every year in September to reflect the current academic year. We will change the applications as they become available.
